Accessibility Statement
What we have done to make this site usable by everyone, and how to tell us when we have got something wrong.
Last updated: September 2026
TM Tax Advisors is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
The standard we build to
This site is designed and built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility was part of how the site was built rather than something added afterwards.
What that means in practice
- Keyboard navigation. Every interactive element — navigation, menus, accordions, forms — can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, and focus is always visible.
- Screen readers. Semantic HTML throughout, proper heading order, landmarks, accessible names on every control, and ARIA used only where native HTML is not sufficient.
- Contrast. Text and interface colours meet or exceed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required at Level AA, and large text meets 3:1.
- Text sizing. Type is set in relative units and the layout reflows without loss of content or function at 200% zoom and at 320px width.
- Motion. Animation is subtle by default, and is switched off entirely when your device or browser requests reduced motion.
- Forms. Every field has a visible, associated label; errors are described in text rather than by colour alone; and required fields are marked in the markup as well as visually.
- No accessibility overlay. We have deliberately not installed a third-party accessibility widget. Overlays frequently interfere with the assistive technology people already use. We would rather build the site correctly.
Known limitations
- The embedded Google map on the contact page is a third-party component whose accessibility we do not fully control. The full address, a directions link and a telephone number are provided in text alongside it, so no information is available only through the map.
- Some documents linked from government websites are outside our control and may not be accessible.
