A fixed fee, quoted first
You approve the number before work begins. No hourly meter, no invoice bigger than the conversation.
Individual Tax
Every return is checked by a second reviewer, filed electronically, and tracked until the IRS and the FTB confirm acceptance.
Most people do not need a complicated return. What they need is one that is correct, filed on time, and claims everything they are actually entitled to — without claiming anything that invites a letter six months later.
We prepare returns for W-2 earners, self-employed people filing Schedule C, families claiming credits, landlords with rental property, and anyone who has income in more than one state. Before we start, we read your last two returns at no charge — missed deductions turn up more often than you would think.
Scope
Federal and California returns
Form 1040 with every schedule your situation needs, plus California Form 540 or 540NR.
Multi-state filings
Non-resident and part-year returns where you earned, worked or held property outside California.
Prior-year review, free
We read your last two returns before quoting. If we find something worth amending, we tell you.
Second-preparer review
No return is filed on one person’s signature. A senior reviewer checks every figure and carryforward.
E-file and confirmation
Filed electronically, with acknowledgement tracked and confirmed back to you.
Next-year payment schedule
Withholding checked and estimated payment vouchers prepared so April is not a surprise.
Outcome
You approve the number before work begins. No hourly meter, no invoice bigger than the conversation.

FAQ
We quote a flat fee in the first call once we have seen last year’s return, because that is the point at which the work is actually knowable. We do not bill by the hour for preparation, and you approve the figure before anything starts.
No. The entire engagement can run through our secure portal and a video call, and most clients work with us that way. The office is on West 5th Street if you would rather sit down with someone, and plenty of local clients do.
An Enrolled Agent is licensed directly by the U.S. Department of the Treasury and holds unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS in any state. It is the only credential that specialises exclusively in taxation, and it means the person who prepared your return can also defend it.
